EKANSH'S POV :
After the video conference, I walked toward my office, with my PA trailing behind me, informing me of the day's schedule. But my mind was somewhere else.
"Sir, today's schedule is clear after two more meetings," Mr. Kumar said.
"Hmm, that's it for today?" I asked, making my way to the private elevator.
"Sir, Mr. Agnihotri is waiting for you in your office," he said before heading toward his own cabin.
EKANSH'S OFFICE :

I stepped into my office and saw someone sleeping peacefully on my couch, a coat draped over his face. I walked over to my desk, grabbed a glass of water, and poured it over him.
"OMG! Tsunami! Tsunami!" Abhay jumped up, still half-asleep. When he realized what had happened, he looked at me. I was sitting at my desk, reading files as if I hadn't just brutally woken him from his peaceful sleep. He mumbled a curse before heading to my office wardrobe to change his shirt. "Rich bastard," he muttered.
"I heard that," I said.
"I said it loud so you'd hear my pure thoughts about you," Abhay retorted before disappearing into my secret wardrobe.
I'm so tired after that meeting, and this bastard is making me even more mad. How this person became my best friend is a mystery only I know. While I was lost in my thoughts, I heard him again.
"You know what, you rich bastard, you just ruined my new Armani suit. That shit is expensive, man!" He said, pointing at his new suit.
After his "makeover session," he came out. "How can you work in this boring office?"
"It's the most expensive building in all of Jaipur, you're talking about, right?" I said.
"Of course it's an expensive building, but it's so boring. I came here for a meeting and was waiting for 'his highness' that I don't even know when I fell asleep."
"If you're ready, let's start the meeting. The board members are waiting. Or should I cancel this project, too?" I said with a smirk.
"As if you care that they're waiting," Abhay mumbled.
"Bhai, main to sirf teri office ke designer ki tareef kar raha tha aur tu toh bura maan gaya," Abhay said with a cheeky smile, knowing exactly how my mind works.
[Brother, I was just praising your office designer, and you got offended.]
I didn't listen to him. I just got up to take care of a few more important things before the next meetings.
THIRD POV :
MR RANAWAT'S OFFICE :

Mr. Ranawat and Mr. Sharma had finished their project discussion. The two old friends were talking casually when Mr. Ranawat decided to ask him something he had been wanting to say for a long time.
"Raghav, agar bura na maano toh kuch kehna chahta hu, ya kahu ki maangna chahta hu," Mr. Ranawat said to Mr. Sharma, who looked worried about what he was about to ask.
[Raghav, if you don't mind, there's something I want to say, or rather, something I want to ask for.]
"Raghav, main koi bhi baat ghumma fira ke nahi bolunga. Mujhe tumhari beti Mihika mere bete ke liye pasand hai," Mr. Ranawat told him directly.
[Raghav, I won't beat around the bush. I like your daughter Mihika for my son.]
Mr. Sharma, who had assumed the conversation was about business, was stunned to hear his friend's request.
"Samarth, maine abhi tak Mihika ki shaadi ke baare mein kuch socha nahi hai. Par agar tumhara beta hai, toh main is baare mein sochunga," Mr. Sharma said calmly.
[Samarth, I haven't thought about Mihika's wedding yet. But since it's your son, I will think about it.]
"Vaise, Taksh aur Arav ki age same hi hai, hai na? Mihika aur Taksh..." Mr. Sharma began.
[By the way, Taksh and Arav are the same age, aren't they? Mihika and Taksh...]
Before he could finish, Mr. Ranawat interrupted him. "Raghav, mujhe Mihika apne bade bete Ekansh ke liye pasand hai."
[Raghav, I like Mihika for my elder son, Ekansh.]
Mr. Sharma was shocked to hear this, as he had assumed his friend was talking about Taksh.
"Ekansh...? Mera matlab, Mihika aur Ekansh... tumhe pata hai na, Ekansh bahut hot-headed aur gusse wala ladka hai. Meri Miku bahut shaant ladki hai, Samarth. Mujhe nahi lagta..."
[Ekansh...? I mean, Mihika and Ekansh... you know Ekansh is a hot-headed and angry guy. My Miku is a very quiet girl, Samarth. I don't think...]
"Raghav, please take your time. Bhabhi ji aur Aarav se baat kar lo, phir hum baat karte hain. Main sirf tumhe batana chahta tha ki mere Ekansh ki zindagi mein sirf Mihika jaisi hi shaant ladki basa sakti hai," Mr. Ranawat said calmly.
[Raghav, please take your time. Talk to your wife and Aarav, then we can talk. I just wanted to tell you that only a calm girl like Mihika can bring peace to my Ekansh's life.]
Mr. Sharma was deep in thought. "Raghav, kyu na tum apni family ko bhi saath mein E.R. ki 30th anniversary party mein le aao? Issi bahaane bacchi sab se mil bhi legi aur tum bhi Ekansh se personally mil sakte ho," Samarth suggested.
[Raghav, why don't you bring your family to E.R.'s 30th anniversary party? This way, your daughter can meet everyone, and you can also meet Ekansh personally.]
"Theek hai, pehle bachhon ko milne dete hain, phir sab kuch discuss kar sakte hain," Mr. Sharma said before leaving, promising to see his friend at the event.
[Okay, let's let the children meet first, then we can discuss everything.]
SHARMA HOUSE :

RAGHAV'S POV :
After coming home, I told Sanskriti everything that Samarth and I had discussed about the marriage proposal from the Ranawat.
"Aap kya soch rahe hain?" Sanskriti asked her husband, who was stressed about the proposal.
(What are you thinking?)
"Kuch nahi. Mujhe laga tha Samarth Taksh ke baare mein baat kar rahe hain, par woh Ekansh ke liye Mihika ka haath maang rahe hain," I shared my worries with my wife.
(Nothing. I thought Samarth was talking about Taksh, but he's asking for Mihika's hand for Ekansh.)
"Kyun, Ekansh achha ladka nahi hai aapki beti ke liye?" Mrs. Sharma smiled and asked her worried husband.
[Why, isn't Ekansh a good boy for your daughter?]
"Nahi, Sanskriti. Ekansh ek bahut honhaar aur achha ladka hai. Humein toh khush hona chahiye ki hamari Miku ke liye Ekansh jaise ladke ka rishta aa raha hai," I said proudly.
[No, Sanskriti. Ekansh is a very promising and good boy. We should be happy that a proposal from a boy like Ekansh is coming for our Miku.]
"Toh phir aap itne pareshan kyun ho rahe hain?" my wife asked.
[Then why are you so worried?]
"Aap hi ne kaha hai na woh bahut achha ladka hai, toh abhi aap tension mat lo. Bhai Saab ne kaha hai na bachhe pehle mil le, phir hi baat ko aage badhayenge. Aur main jaanti hoon aapko apni beti ki shaadi abhi karni hi nahi hai, par ek na ek din toh betiyaan vida hoke apne sasural chali hi jaati hain, toh hum itna achha rishta kaise jaane de?" my wife said, understanding my worries and giving me advice.
[You're the one who said he's a good boy, so don't take tension. Samarth has told you to let the kids meet first, then they will take the discussion forward. And I know you don't want to get your daughter married right now, but one day daughters do go to their husband's house. So why should we let such a good proposal go?]
"Aap itna tension mat lijiye, apni tabiyat kharab kar lenge. Hum ja rahe hain na parso party mein, tab dekh lenge. Hmm? Aaram kariye aap." Sanskriti calmly handled me.
[Don't take so much tension; you'll ruin your health. We're going to the party tomorrow, right? We'll see then. Now, get some rest.]
