By the time night fell over the estate, the heavy silence of the Chaudhary Haveli was shattered by joyous chatter. The elders returned from the hospital with radiant, smiling faces, bringing the wonderful news that Eshal had safely delivered a healthy baby girl. Both mother and daughter were doing remarkably well. Mahid had stayed behind at the hospital alongside Shahida Begum and Eshal's mother, while Dadajaan, Mumtaz Begum, Ziniya, Ayat,Aalim and Minal returned home after showering the youngest member of the family with love and blessings.
